Stevenson Middle School principal issues statement on student conflicts
The principal of Stevenson Middle School in Wayne-Westland Community Schools of Southeast Michigan sent a letter to families that says, "Our staff have also increasingly been asked to respond to disciplinary situations and student conflicts ... No teacher is contractually obligated to physically intervene in a fight between students."
