Southwest Detroit launches effort to promote business district

Business leaders on Detroit's southwest side are hoping to encourage more people to visit the area. The Southwest Detroit Business Association on Saturday kicked off its Mexicantown Main Street campaign. The street stretches from Vernor Highway to Bagley Street.
