Mike Rogers calls on Detroit mayor to call President Trump for backup
Former U.S. representative Mike Rogers, who is now running for Senate, has urged Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan to ask President Trump for help to reduce violent crime. Rogers posted a video saying Duggan should be on the phone with Mr. Trump "now," calling for backup. U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Birmingham, who is also running for the Senate seat, criticized that stance.
