Apartment complex fire code concerns

Regina Owens related her concerns after a fire damaged her apartment. Detroit Fire Department has since issued a code violation to Marketplace Court Apartments over access to a fire hydrant. Owens is temporarily living with family, but needs a handicapped-accessible living space.
