Abdul El-Sayed talks running in Michigan's U.S. Senate race
With the Aug. 4 primary election in Michigan a few weeks away, CBS News Detroit is talking to candidates in local, state and federal races. Former Wayne County health director, Abdul El-Sayed, discusses his campaign for the U.S. Senate. The seat is currently held by Sen. Gary Peters, who was not seeking reelection. El-Sayed is up against Congresswoman Haley Stevens in the Democratic primary.
