Twenty-four years after the deadliest terrorist attack in American history, members of the Detroit police and fire departments gathered downtown to honor the nearly 3,000 people killed on Sept. 11, 2001.
NYC and the nation are vowing to "never forget" what happened during the 9/11 attack 24 years ago today.
Wednesday was the annual 9/11 memorial ceremony in NYC, marking 23 years since the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.
