The holidays are a time to help the less fortunate in your community. Donating to local charity is an easy way to make an impact. Make a year-end donation at one of the many great Southeast Michigan charitable organization.

Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund Detroit goal for 2010 is $1.3 million. They will distribute 36,000 gift boxes to children this holiday season. Visit  www.detroitgoodfellows.org for more information.

Gleaners needs funds and food throughout the year. A $25 donation is the equivalent of 75 meals. They take 95% out of every dollar goes directly towards the food program.
