World Vision Delivers Optimal End-User Web Experience With Compuware

Detroit-based Compuware Corp. (Nasdaq: CPWR) Wednesday announced that World Vision, the Christian humanitarian organization, is using Compuware's application performance management technology to monitor and optimize the performance of its Web site.

As a non-profit organization, World Vision's ability to maximize information delivery and e-commerce components on the Web is vital to the philanthropic cause of its charter. Compuware Gomez technology ensures that the site is available and performing optimally to deliver reliable end-user experience.

"Just as World Vision addresses the root causes of poverty and help children break through the cycle of poverty, Compuware's solutions provide us with real-time information on web performance issues, identifying root causes and providing the necessary analytics for optimizing performance," said Nick Goh, director of shared services at World Vision. "Compuware Gomez' ease-of-use and speed of deployment were a boon as it meant that we can easily implement the solution and start delivering results."

Based in Malaysia, Goh -- who has global responsibilities for shared services -- also uses Compuware Gomez usage trends and benchmarks for improving the efficacy of Web modules.

"World Vision in working with underprivileged children to tackle poverty and injustice is one of the most important humanitarian causes today," said Nick Evered, vice president of Compuware Asia and India. "Compuware is committed in ensuring an optimal Web experience for World Vision. We have a complete range of solutions in resolving issues along the application delivery chain, helping organizations to focus on the customer experience."

The Gomez platform optimizes the performance of Web, non-Web, mobile, streaming and cloud applications. Driven by end-user experience, Gomez provides a unified view across the entire application delivery chain, from a user's browser or mobile device, across the Internet or a corporate WAN, in the cloud, to inside the data center, eliminating blind spots from the First Mile to the Last Mile.
