Will Detroit Symphony Orchestra Be Silenced?

Talks between the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and its musicians' union have hit a sour note.

As a result, the musicians' union has approved a strike. The two sides can't agree on how much musicians' pay should be cut. Their contract ends Sunday night -- and no new talks are scheduled. A strike couldn't happen until late September.

A DSO walkout would be the first since 1987.
