And now there's another affirmative mark on Justin Verlander's checklist.

Have your name as the answer to a Jeopardy question? He can check that one off as well.

"The pitcher most recently named the American League's MVP was this fire-balling Tiger in 2011," Alex Trebeck asked. A photo of Verlander was  shown.

Contestant Ben got the answer correct, "who was Verlander."

Verlander also got a kick out of appearing on the episode.

This has to be a bucket list type of deal for anyone famous. I hope one day there will be a question, "this digital content producer once fell in the hallway of the building he worked in."
