Weekend Traffic Tie-Ups

The trip out to Metro Airport could be a slow one on Saturday and Sunday. This weekend's construction tie-ups will be on several freeways.

M-Dot plans multiple lane closures near Metro Airport, both directions of I-275 at the I-94 interchange and EB I-94 between Wayne Rd. and Merriman.

Watch out for road crews with lanes closed in St. Clair Shores and Roseville, both directions along I-94 between 8 Mile and I-696, and through Bloomfield Twp.

Lane closures will also slow things down in Auburn Hills,  in both directions on I-75 between Square Lake and Joslyn Rd.

All of that work is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Friday and wrap up early Monday morning.
