Verizon Wireless Expands 4G LTE To Alpena

SOUTHFIELD -- Verizon Wireless is continuing to expand its 4G LTE network, introducing coverage in four new markets across the country as of Thursday, including the Alpena area in northeast Lower Michigan.

Other markets also launched today include Kirksville, Mo., Poplar Bluff, Mo. And Abilene, Texas.

Verizon Wireless will be further expanding its footprint in the northeast part of Michigan later this year.

With Verizon Wireless 4G LTE speeds in Alpena, customers can enjoy innovative solutions such as the Samsung Galaxy Camera, while small businesses can take advantage the network's capabilities with solutions like CradlePoint 4G LTE Routers, that leverage 4G LTE to increase efficiency.

The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network reaches 273.5 million people across the country – close to 89 percent of the U.S. population – and is now available in 480 markets.
