Verizon Seeks Bilingual Staff

Verizon Wireless said Monday that it is hiring in retail sales across Michigan, with a strong focus on hiring many people with bilingual capabilities.

The company is currently adding as many as 30 retail sales representatives to select stores in metro Detroit.

Job responsibilities include assisting customers in their selection of new wireless devices and rate plans to fit their needs, demonstrating wireless devices and other equipment, answering questions about network capabilities, working to renew wireless plan contracts and maintaining and fostering customer relationships.

All candidates, including those who are fluent in Spanish, should apply online at www.verizonwireless.com/careers. Selected applicants will then be invited to an invitation-only career fair where they can learn more about these opportunities.
