VIDEO: 1 person dead after vehicle crashes into retaining wall outside Macomb County court building
MT. CLEMENS, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - Authorities say the driver of a vehicle has died on Wednesday after crashing into a retaining wall outside the Macomb County Circuit Court building.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office says it was a single-vehicle crash. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Surveillance video shows a Jeep Liberty veering off the roadway at a high rate of speed and crashing into the retaining wall.
Authorities closed northbound Gratiot Avenue between Crocker and Market Street. Residents were advised to avoid the area.
