Train Hits Car In Isabella County, Injuring 2

ROSEBUSH (AP) - Authorities say a freight train has hit a car in mid-Michigan, injuring two 20-year-olds.

The Morning Sun of Mount Pleasant reports the car was hit Monday night at a crossing that's marked with a stop sign in Isabella County near Rosebush, about 70 miles north of Lansing.

The sheriff's department says the driver was airlifted to a hospital in Flint, where she was listed in critical but stable condition. The passenger from Mount Pleasant was treated and released from a hospital.

The train included two locomotives pulling seven cargo cars.
