Toyota's Electric RAV4 SUV Will Start At Just Under 50k
DETROIT (WWJ) - Toyota says its electric RAV4 SUV will carry a base sticker price of $49,800 when it goes on sale in California this summer.
That's more than double the price of the vehicle's gasoline version, and $14,600 more than the Nissan Leaf. Toyota says the electric RAV4 will go 100 miles on a single charge.
Expectations are low; Toyota expects to sell just 2,600 hundred electric RAV4's over the next three years.
