Tips Sought To ID Man Wanted For Questioning In Fatal Shooting [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have released video of a man who detectives want to talk to about a murder.

Police are looking for help from the public to identify this "person of interest" in the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man who was entering his home at around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8 in the 5700 block of Hardin on the city's east side.

Police say a man seen on camera going to and leaving that location through the backyard is wanted for questioning.

He's described as a black male with a light complexion. He was wearing a white t-shirt with light-colored basketball shorts and white gym shoes.

Anyone who recognizes this person of interest, knows of his whereabouts, or has any information pertaining to this crime, is asked to call Detroit Police Homicide at 313-596-2260, 313-596-6804 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
