Opening Day in Detroit is a holiday to Detroiters.
Many people wake up early, and start tailgating at 7 a.m. for a 1 p.m. game, which means not many are able to stand up or walk straight come 1 p.m.
In a video that surfaced online, a group of people got into fisticuffs.

The video shows a woman throwing blows, which then leads to one guy coming in and throwing a hay maker.
On a day where everyone should be celebrating the start of the 2015 Detroit Tigers season, there is one group of people who want to make Detroit look bad.
From my experience downtown on Monday, I mostly saw happy people enjoying each other's company.
Perhaps, as my mother used to tell me: "This is why we can't have nice things."
