Tigers Announce Tryout Camp In Lakeland, Fla.
DETROIT (AP) — Think you have what it takes to be a Tiger?
The Detroit baseball club is giving fans a chance to prove it.
The Tigers will hold a tryout camp at their TigerTown Minor League Complex in Lakeland, Fla., on March 5.
It's for players ages 18 to 23, or those with previous professional baseball experience.
No pre-registration or participation fee is necessary to attend the camp.
Those interested in trying out need to bring their own gloves and workout equipment. Wooden bats, helmets and baseballs will be provided by the Tigers.
