Tigers Announce The Signing Of Four Draft Picks

DETROIT --- The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has agreed to terms with four players selected during the 2011 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

Additionally, the Tigers have agreed to terms with the following three non-drafted free agents: catcher Wes Thigpen from Mississippi State University, shortstop Jonathan Ogden from Mississippi State University and infielder/outfielder Zach Maxfield from Florida Gulf Coast University.

The Tigers have now agreed to terms with 24 players from the 2011 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
