Thrillist Names 23 Worst Decisions You Can Make In Detroit; Calling Into 97.1 With 'Garbage' Comments Makes It

The city of Detroit may get a bad rap in the national media, but I will live in metro Detroit until I die. I love the city and I love the people. I just feel it is the perfect place for me.

With the Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Lions, Michigan State and Michigan -- What is there not to like for a sports freak like myself?

Well, apparently there are some bad decisions you can make in this city I love because the website thrillist.com just put out a list called, "THE 23 WORST DECISIONS YOU CAN MAKE IN DETROIT."

Number one on the list is of course a huge mistake if you are a Detroiter..."Ordering a plain Coney." Who would do that?

Voting for Kwame Kilpatrick came in at number 9.

But what came in at number 10 is really what caught my attention: "Calling into 97.1 with a garbage comment."

Their explanation for why that's a bad idea is actually pretty funny, "Actually, keep those coming for the rest of us."

The Lions also made the list ... and it mentions thinking Matthew Stafford could lead that big fourth quarter comeback is probably a poor decision. They follow that up with "Yep, too soon."
