1. The Pistons have won their last two games on the road at Cleveland and Washington, over the teams that held the first overall pick the last two NBA Drafts. Rooting for the Pistons to lose to improve their draft position is proving to be a trite and cliched stance by those who haven't looked at the way the NBA Draft has been playing out in recent years.
2. If Greg Monroe were the first overall pick instead of the seventh overall selection in the 2010 draft, would anybody consider him a "bust?." He is averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds per game in his second season. He is better than just a piece. He's a main cog.
3. Brandon Knight has been everything advertised. True value for the eighth overall selection in the draft. He could have easily gone in the Top 3.
