Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo On Nate Robertson
Three reasons I like the Nate Robertson trade:
1. The Tigers got a decent bullpen prospect, not far from the major leagues, for either Robertson or Dontrelle Willis.
2. Robertson couldn't pitch out of the bullpen, so Voss, a situational left-hander, may allow the Tigers to move lefty Phil Coke into the starting rotation if Willis, as expected, falters.
3. Voss is far enough along he may be able to fill the role of the injured Bobby Seay at some point this season.
