Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo
Three reasons hockey is a truly great sport, but the NHL is a horribly run league.
1. Scheduling - The Red Wings don't play Columbus forever, and then play the Blue Jackets every other game to close the season. Ridiculous. Same with those three days off in the middle of a trip to Western Canada.
2. Penalty calls - After six, seven, eight - or how many decades the NHL has been in existence - you'd think they'd finally figure out what is and isn't a penalty. They haven't.
3. Gary Bettman - Need I say more?
