This Shane Greene Changeup Is Making Tigers Fans Feel Dirty

Although Shane Greene has been good overall for the Tigers, he got lit up for 7 runs in 4 1/3 innings pitched Wednesday vs. the Twins.

The changeup is new for Green, a pitch he debuted in the majors. And it immediately won high praise from Brad Ausmus.

"We want him to use his changeup more, because it helps him be more effective against left-handers," Ausmus told MLive a few weeks ago. "He threw some really good ones."

Seeing professional athletes perform in their prime never gets old. It's a big reason why we watch.

The game dropped his ERA from 3.00 to 4.60. Let's hope Greene has a better start next time.
