The Lions loss against the Packers was heartbreaking. And nothing could express that pure sports heartbreak more than watching the reaction of two grown men who wear stuffed animals on their heads. "Superfan" and "Detroit Don" are mainstays at Lions games. They bust out the full shoulder pads, face paint and lion heads each week. There was a short stint when they threatened to never go to another game because they got kicked out of Ford Field during the Bears game (they have since apologized for their aggressive actions on that day). But you knew they couldn't stay away. Their fandom runs too deep. Their belief in a Lions comeback was strong. Nothing could break them. Until last night. Last night might have officially broken the superfans.
