Tech Job Fairs To Be Held This Weekend

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - Job seekers looking for a position with Detroit-area technology firms can attend a pair of job fairs this weekend.

Techweek Detroit will be hosting a job fair Friday at Ford Field with firms seeking candidates for positions including data analysts, UI/UX designers and developers.

A ticket is needed for the event which runs from noon - 5 p.m. at Ford Field.  Those attending the job fair can then attend other events that will be held on the final day of the week-long event.

Quicken Loans will also be hosting a job fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Qube (Chase Tower), 611 Woodward Ave., Detroit. The company has 1,000 full-time positions open with position available in mortgage banking, technology, mortgage operations and at Title Source. There are also a smaller amount of jobs at other teams within the company, and some paid summer internships still available.
