Then Deirdre Greene Groves, the Executive Director of Challenge Detroit, and Bithiah Lee, one of the Challenge Detroit Fellows, discusses the successes of the first year of the program.

Finally, Mark Covington developed a vision for Detroit that included volunteers, urban gardening, and new business and tells about the Georgia Street Community Collective he founded.
