Looks Like We're Going To See Even More Rain

DETROIT (WWJ) - Fog, wind, rain and storms round out the weather for the week, potentially leading up to some sun on Friday.

Mild air moving into the region, combined with a warm front, led to a foggy Tuesday morning. After the fog clears, Metro Detroit could be hit with some strong storms Tuesday afternoon, followed by a couple of soggy days.

"It's the milder air that starting to push in here that's causing the fog and the drizzle activity this morning. But, as that lifts out here, we'll see varying amounts of clouds. If we get any sunshine, I think the potential for the severe weather gets even higher here as we go through the day," said AccuWeather's Dean Devore.

The National Weather Service and AccuWeather say strong storms packing winds of 60 miles per hour, hail and possible tornadoes are possible mainly between noon and 6 p.m. Tuesday. Temperatures will rise into the low 70's and are expected to generate those storms.

It may be time for a little work indoors on Wednesday as it most certainly will be wet, with a 90 percent chance of precipitation.

Thursday will be windy with rain trailing off as the day goes on, leading to sunshine and temperatures in the 60's on Friday.
