Saving Able, Clint Black Among Headliners At Arts, Beats And Eats
The entertainment for the annual "Arts, Beats, and Eats" Festival has been announced, and among the headliners are Candlebox, Saving Able, Alexander Zonjic & Friends, Clint Black and Macy Gray.
The event, now in its 13th year, promises to have more than ever for visitors to see, hear, and munch on.
More than 130 artists from across the continent will display their wares at the Fine Arts Show. Visitors will be able to enjoy a range of art including photography, painting, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, glass and jewelry making.
Of course, we can't forget the eats. Fifteen restaurants from Royal Oak and several more from across metro Detroit will showcase their signature tastes, with no item costing more than $5. Robert Mondavi will host wine tasting and cooking demonstrations throughout the weekend as well.
There will be plenty of family friendly attractions for the kids, as well as health and wellness, and green living stations.
New to the festival this year, in keeping with downtown Royal Oak's vivid nightlife, is the B3@ROMT (Beats, Beats and Beats at Royal Oak Music Theatre.) Local and national rock acts will play the theatre and host after parties Friday and Saturday. Sunday night the theatre will present Hair Razor: The Royal Oak Hair Show, with DJ David B spinning at the after party.
For a complete list of events happening in downtown Royal Oak September 3rd-6th, go to www.artsbeatseats.com, or check the entertainment line up below.
