Report States Pistons Head Coach, Mo Cheeks, Fired
DETROIT (WWJ) - Yahoo Sports reports that Mo Cheeks, the head coach for the Detroit Pistons has been fired.
Maurice Cheeks, who was hired in the summer of 2013, is coming off a two game winning streak with the team, currently at the 21-29 mark.
Detroit had shown flashes of promise at times in 2013, defeating some of the league's best teams
in the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers, but the Pistons went through a number of losing skids and were fighting to just make the playoffs, much less become relevant there.
