MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ) - A Macomb County man given a year probation in the death of his daughter in a firepit accident will be deported to his native Jordan, according to his attorney.

Forty-one-year-old Majd Mohammad Al-Shara of Lenox Township, a Jordanian citizen in this country illegally, pleaded guilty to fourth degree child abuse after pouring fuel on a backyard firepit in September.

His 6-year-old daughter caught fire and died from her injuries.
