Police Seek Knife-Wielding Suspect Who Robbed 7-Eleven

SHELBY TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Macomb County 7-Eleven store at knifepoint in the middle of the night.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday at the 7-Eleven convenience store near 24 Mile and Shelby roads.

Authorities say the suspect threatened the cashier with a knife and demanded money from the register. He escaped with an undetermined amount of cash in a dark-colored SUV.

The clerk was uninjured.

The suspect, who appears to walk with a limp, is described as a white male, approximately 6' tall and 180 lbs. with closely cut hair and two small "tails" on the back of his head. He also has tattoos on his right forearm, right shoulder, left bicep, and left clavicle. He was wearing a yellow and purple Cleveland Cavalier's jersey with the number "34" on the front, red tennis shoes and baggy shorts.
