Police: 3-Year-Old Boy Slain In Accidental Shooting
YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A 3-year-old boy has been killed in an accidental shooting at a Washtenaw County apartment complex.
Police found the child shot after being called about 1:30 p.m. Sunday to the Country Meadows Apartments in Ypsilanti Township, west of Detroit.
Washtenaw County sheriff's office spokesman Derrick Jackson tells the Detroit Free Press that another child had the gun when it fired, striking the 3-year-old.
The shooting is under investigation.
