They have made 11 or fewer turnovers in 11 of the last 15 games, including six-turnover outings against Miami and San Antonio and a seven-turnover performance against Orlando.

--Miami forward LeBron James, who makes his first appearance this season at The Palace on Friday, has a personal 13-game winning streak against the Pistons dating to the 2009-10 season. Cleveland won its last three regular-season games against Detroit that season, then rolled to a four-game sweep in the opening round of the playoffs. The Cavs went 4-0 against the Pistons last season, and Miami has won two home games against Detroit this season.
