Pistons Finally Get A Rest
Finally, the Pistons catch a break. After not having more than one day off, they get a three-day break before playing at New Jersey Wednesday. The 26 games they played through Saturday tied the league high.
"For us, we look at it as practice time," coach Lawrence Frank said. "We've got a lot of work to do."
Frank won't take any days off but the players will get a break Sunday before returning to practice Monday and Tuesday.
"Any day they don't have to hear me is a positive for them," he said with a smile. "This is an atypical season where there's a lot of craziness. This will be a healthy thing."
