New Software From Magic Coast
Ann Arbor-based Magic Coast this week announced version 3.0 of its video streaming platform software.
The company said Magic Coast 3.0 is in the final phase of testing with select customers and is expected to be released to all customers and the public on July 31.
The company said the Magic Coast streaming video platform covers the entire continuum of the video streaming equation from content capture and encoding hardware, hosting, content management, streaming, player development and analytics.
Version 3.0 contains both new features and improved workflow. Among the new features, customers will find the ability to seamlessly integrate their live and on-demand video programs with their social media strategies.
New live preview and special effects are now included in the built-in, Web-based multimedia event switcher-mixer. Event producers use the switcher to run live shows and send live video, video on demand, graphic images, power point slides, and animations to viewers, in real time.
Improvements in media asset handling work-flow have also been included in this release to help speed the use of web captured images and video in live programs.
