National Physician Staffing Formed
Stephen Read, president of Beverly Hills-based National Anesthesia Services Inc., announced he has formed a new division, National Physician Staffing Inc., to meet current and future demand for medical personnel in several key specialties.
National Anesthesia Services has more than 21 years' experience as a medical staffing organization and will continue to place anesthesiologists and CRNAs on both a locum tenens and permanent basis in hospitals, surgery centers and medical facilities throughout the United States.
National Physician Staffing will operate in much the same manner with an immediate focus on staffing radiologists, hospitalists and emergency medicine physicians; adding other specialties as deemed necessary. Subject to growth, both divisions will operate out of the same location in Beverly Hills.
"The health care industry is a dynamic one," said Read. "The demand for increased staffing is already apparent. In 2014 we anticipate major changes due to health care reform and in some cases even sooner. There will be a more profound shortage of health care personnel, and our company is preparing now to meet that need."
With an expansive database already in place and rapidly growing, NPS will offer quick turnaround for all specialties.
"I see the next few years as a time of incredible opportunity in the medical staffing field," said Read.
