Musical Tribute Planned For Keyboardist Greg Dokes

DETROIT (AP) - A musical tribute is planned for a well-known Detroit musician who died earlier this week. Keyboardist Greg Dokes was 54.

Along with having contact with the likes of Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin, Dokes also was the music director for the Temptations Review and was involved in Madonna's "Girlie" world tour.

A musical benefit for Dokes is planned for 6 p.m. Monday at Bert's Warehouse on Russell Street. Visitation at Swanson Funeral Home on West McNichols is set for 3 til 9 Tuesday.

The funeral will be at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at Deeper Life Gospel Center on Beech Daly.
