After a 1 and 2 road trip in Los Angeles, the Tigers take their road show to Kansas City for the first of 4 tonight against the Royals. Tigers remain one and a half games behind first place Cleveland in the A.L. Central. Kansas City is 15 games below 500 and in last place in the division. Max Scherzer is going after win number 10 tonight and rookie Danny Duffy who is fresh off giving up 5 run in 5 innings to the Rockies last weekend goes for KC.
The latest on the NFL lockout, reports say Roger Goodell an DeMaurice Smith have joined lawyers and owners and players in CBA discussions today in New York. It's believed the two sides want to have framework for a deal in place by the end of the business day tomorrow.
NBA Players beginning to look overseas while it's lockout is going on. Reports say Nets All-Star PG Deron Williams has an agreement to play in Turkey.
The Wings have added another forward, signing free agent Chris Conner to a one year deal. Conner played 60 games for the Penguins last year, recording 16 points.
