It's day two of the NFL Draft and the Lions gearing up for rounds 2 and 3. Detroit drafts 44th overall which is the 12th choice in round 2 and then 75th overall the 11th choice in the 3rd round. Martin Mayhew continues to glow about his first pick from last night. DT Nick Fairley and now the depth that the team has at that spot, Fairley will arrive in town today and be introduced at a news conference later this evening.

The Red Wings open up the Western Conference Semi Finals tonight. Its game one in San Jose against the Sharks the same team that eliminated Detroit in 5 games a year ago, Henrik Zetterberg and Johan Franzen healthy and return tonight.

Tigers start a 3 game set against surprising Cleveland at Progressive Field. Max Scherzer on the hill against Jeanmar Gomez, Tigers 4 ½ back of first place Cleveland tied with Kansas City.
