The Red Wings winding down their regular season with 6 more games before the playoffs start. Tonight Detroit is at home for the Blues; Jimmy Howard still is not ready to return so Joey MacDonald once again will start in net. Pavel Datsyuk still remains out.
CBSsports.com reports that the Pistons sale to Flint Billionaire Tom Gores is close to done and that league owners are expected to vote it thru in mid April. The team has a game tonight in Indy against the Pacers. Tracy McGrady returns from a back injury.
Brady Hoke's contract is now signed at Michigan; the school announces it's a six year deal with Hoke making 18 million dollars over the length of the contract. A base salary this season of 300 thousand with 1.7 million in additional compensation, Hoke gets a stay bonus of 1.5 million dollars if he remains at Michigan after his third season.
