Matt Dery's Daily Update 2-1-11

The Red wings are hitting the road to try and beat the storm as they travel to Ottawa to face the Sens tomorrow night. Mike Babcock says Pavel Datsyuk will not play tomorrow night but maybe Friday. The team is taking proper precautions by recalling Jan Mursak from Grand Rapids and he'll make the trip to Ottawa.

Pistons also play tomorrow night with the Charlotte Bobcats in town. Rodney Stuckey is doing some light work on the side and not practicing today, he will not play tomorrow night. Rip Hamilton was at practice today but did not work out and says he is feeling a little better and is listed as probable for tomorrow. Rip hasn't play now in the last 11 games. Jason Maxiell is doubtful with a sore back. Ben Wallace is back with the team. Charlie Villanueva was excused today for personal matters.

Super Bowl media day and the highlight so far has been Azteca reporter Ines Sainz who claimed sexual harassment against the Jets earlier this year. She was in attendance during the Green Bay Packers session.
