The Lions are moving up in the NFL's eyes, 7-3 and getting ready for Thanksgiving Day against the Packers. Now the league announces that Detroit's game with the New Orleans, on December 4th has been flexed and moved to Sunday Night Primetime on NBC at 8:30pm. Lions will have a late afternoon walk through today and no Jim Schwartz regular press conference at 2:30pm.
Surgery for Jay Cutler who has a fractured thumb on his throwing hand is likely out for 6 to 8 weeks. Bears long snapper Patrick Mannely out for the year too with a ruptured ACL.
Michigan QB Denard Robinson honored again today and named co Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week sharing the award with Wisconsin's Montee Ball. Wolverines host Ohio State Saturday, Coach Brady Hoke confirmed today that he has always called Ohio State, Ohio but would not say why.
Justin Verlander will find out at 2pm if his incredible season with the Tigers has been capped off with an MVP Award.
