The Red Wings bring a six game win streak into their contest with the Blues tonight at the Joe. The Central Division is loaded, Wings, Hawks and Blues all within one point of each other with Detroit holding down the top spot with 65 points. The Wings home win streak is now at 16.

Lions defensive backs coach Tim Walton has reportedly interviewed for a job with the Rams. The St. Louis Post Dispatch is reporting that Walton is up for the assistant defensive coordinator job under Greg Williams.

Matthew Stafford still has to wait with Eli Manning going to the Super Bowl. Cam Newton of the Panthers will replace Manning on the NFC Pro Bowl roster. Stafford is the 3rd alternate behind Newton and Tony Romo.

CBSSports.com's Danny Knobler reports that the Tigers have some interest in DH candidates Hideki Matsui and Raul Ibanez and that the team is also considering Johnny Damon and Juan Pierre.
