Downed Trees Litter Dearborn After Storm

DEARBORN (WWJ)- The storm rolled through Dearborn in the area of Telegraph and Ford roads and left a path of downed trees in its wake Monday afternoon.

WWJ's Mike Campbell reports from the city of Dearborn.

Linda Fakih lives on N. York in Dearborn were a 75 foot tree fell right on top of her brand new SUV.

"Well, I actually had the keys in my hand - trying to run it up the driveway, just because I realized it was going to be an ugly day ... we usually keep it up behind the gate but we let the kids play in the backyard and moved the car out-of-the-way," said Fakih.

The good news is that the only thing hurt in the tree accident was the new car, Fakih and her children were not injured.
