Lions Sign Kassim Osgood
The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed nine-year NFL veteran Kassim Osgood to a contact. Osgood, 32, spent the last two season with the Jacksonville Jaguars and has appeared in the Pro Bowl three times on special teams.
Osgood will compete with Patrick Edwards, Maurice Stovall, Nate Hughes, Lance Logan, Jarett Dillard to return kicks this season. He has 44 career receptions and five touchdowns.
Lions have released QB A.J. Archer to make room for Osgood on the 90-man roster.
