Lions Say Reaching The Playoffs Is Still A Possibility
In June, Lions safety Louis Delmas was the first player to say he expected the team to win eight games and make the playoffs.
As players returned Tuesday for their first practice following the bye week, Delmas did not go as far as predicting a playoff berth for the 1-5 Lions.
But with a favorable schedule, healing teammates, a struggling division and injuries mounting for their opponents, Delmas and other players expressed optimism as they looked ahead to the final 10 games.
