Lions Release Safety Daniel Bullocks

It's the end of an era. Literally.
The Lions have released oft-injured safety Daniel Bullocks, the last player from former team president Matt Millen's 2002-06 draft classes.
Bullocks became the last survivor of the 39 players from those draft classes after linebacker Ernie Sims was traded to Philadelphia in April.
Bullocks was a second-round pick in 2006 who missed two of the last three seasons with a serious knee injury. A restricted free agent after last season, he signed his one-year, $1.176-million tender offer in April to return to the team and participated in last month's three-day minicamp.
