Lions Have Deal With Mr. Irrevelant Tim Toone And Sign Kicker Aaron Pettrey

The Lions agreed today to a three-year deal with receiver Tim Toone, a seventh-round draft choice, and signed former Ohio State kicker Aaron Pettrey to a one-year deal.
Toone, the so-called Mr. Irrelevant as the final pick of the draft out of Weber State, also has been competing as a return specialist. Toone is expected to make a standard $1.215 million in base salary.
He is the fourth of the Lions' six draft picks to either agree to terms or sign. Only first-round picks Ndamukong Suh and Jahvid Best remain without contracts.
